Personnel Decisions International Selects SAP to EnableAggressive
Global Growth and Maximize Efficiencies

Midsize HR Consulting Company to Deploy SAP for Professional Services with Qualified SAP(R) All-in-One Partner Solution CREW(TM) from et alia

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, March 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SAP AG (NYSE: SAP - News) today announced that Personnel Decisions International (PDI), one of the world's leading consulting firms specializing in human resources consulting and leadership development, has selected the SAP for Professional Services solution portfolio. With more than 700 team members in 28 offices globally, PDI wanted to transform its 15-year-old IT landscape of isolated systems for project accounting and human resource management into an integrated environment that enables greater operational efficiencies.

The solution from SAP and partner et alia will help PDI gain visibility across its entire global operations by optimizing and standardizing regional talent management processes across all 28 offices. For the past decade, PDI has continually evolved its IT systems to meet the changing demands of its business and global reach. Through integration of these functions with the solution from SAP, PDI expects to increase resource utilization within two years to better tap the revenue potential of its talented staff.

"PDI has experienced rapid growth globally, and while we've been able to integrate key systems to manage that growth, it has been difficult and time-consuming," said Mark Young, chief financial officer, PDI. "Having a flexible, fully integrated design from SAP Professional Services, together with the CREW solution from et alia, will give PDI the global enterprise system that fits our company's growth plans and suits our multifaceted service and product offerings."

The deployment of SAP for Professional Services at PDI will bundle together business functions including project management, financials, sales, materials management, human capital management (HCM) and delivery processes. Comprising SAP® Business Suite applications, the solution portfolio will enable PDI to re-engineer its business processes to a best-practices model.
The initial rollout will begin in North America and Europe, followed by locations in Asia and Australia. The project team for CREW will implement and deploy the SAP solution portfolio for PDI.

"Talent and resource management is core to a professional services provider's talent supply chain management operations and critical to strategic development and growth," said Michael Lamade, senior vice president, Professional Services, SAP AG. "SAP is helping professional service providers such as PDI see the potential of integrated processes for enabling the company to drive growth and revenues with a tightly integrated approach to talent supply chain management."

"The challenges facing PDI are typical of a service firm that has a broad global presence and seeks to better capitalize on that presence to drive organic growth," said et alia president and founder Brad Nicolaisen. "This is why et alia has aligned with SAP in its offering of CREW, the qualified SAP All-in-One partner solution designed specifically for midsize professional service firms such as PDI."
